The Burroughs Home & Gardens is the only luxury, historic, waterfront venue in the downtown Fort Myers area offering an open-air pavilion (with the option to be fully enclosed) to host weddings and special events.  The Gale McBride Pavilion was built in 2016 on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River offering breathtaking riverfront views, sultry sunsets, and surrounding tropical foliage.  This luxury, historic property hosts a plethora of other attractive features such as the historic Burroughs home with wrap-around porches and a verandah, free-standing fountain, a grotto (the first one built in Fort Myers) fed by an artesian well, a secret garden with reflecting pool, gazebo, and palm alley. We have a beautiful Bridal Suite for your pampered needs. The groom and his party may enjoy the Library on the first floor of the mansion for their pre-ceremony getting ready. The garden features many varieties of palm trees, elephant ears, century-old oaks, ficus, bougainvillea, and birds of paradise.
