A New Twist on Tours at the Burroughs Home! Groups of 10 or more wishing to tour the historic Burroughs Home can now add an adventurous tea experience, with the option of one of two programs! Presented by local author, speaker, and playwright Laurie Nienhaus, guests can choose from either “For the Love of Lavender” or “How on Earth did tea Make it This Far?”
Following both of these short, fun programs is light tea fare. For the “Love of Lavender,” all scrumptious selections feature lavender. For “How on Earth did tea Make it This Far,” the appetizing assortments feature items using tea as an ingredient.
Reservations are necessary and seating is limited! (Must be booked two weeks prior to selected date.) To reserve this delightful day for your group, call 239.337.9505. The cost is only $30 to attend, which includes both the guided historical tour & tea program. The Burroughs Home is located at 2505 First Street in Fort Myers. Admission is $5 for adults, with children under 10 and active military and veterans free.
